This innovative bit will change the way your horse reacts. If you have a nervous or anxious horse, a horse that chomps and chews on every bit, this leather mouth-piece bit will change his game. With a similar action as a Rutledge bit, it has a 3/4" wide by 1/4" thick piece of leather connected by medium shanks. It gives just enough leverage along with a soft give. This bit has been used by many ropers and barrel racers across the nation. You can purchase it with any of our Rockin Out conchos to match your headstall and saddle.

Leather mouth bit
Got the leather mouth bit in the mail friday as I was leaving town. Grabbed a extra headstall out of the tack room loaded up and left. Rode my horse in it a little friday night and then used it all weekend. Horse worked great I could not be happier! Very well made. Several people asked about it I will be sending them your way!

Leather bit, yes please!
We use it on our rope horses, and several of them have responded nicely to it! One broke but nervous mouthed head horse; a fancy broke heel horse and a tender mouthed mare that noses out, and mouths traditional metal it’s. It’s my go to for fairly broke horses that you don’t need to get in their face, but want to have soft contact with their mouth. The top of the shanks curve slightly outward and compliment quarter horses facial structure quiet nicely.

Our New Favorite Bit!
Everyone in my family is using my leather bit now, lol. It took a while, but my husband finally tried it and messaged me just now and said to order two more! We use our horses for Roping, Barrels, and gathering cattle.

It works well as a practice bit when our gelding gets tough on the bit. We use him for ringing.
